REDDICK, FL (352today.com) – Weren’t we just talking about the plethora of events that always seem to be happening up at Southern Hammock, Reddick’s amenity-filled and activity-rich long-term RV resort?
Well, here’s another one, and it’s especially meaningful: The resort will be hosting a ceremony on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2026, and the whole community is welcome.
Folks are invited to gather at the flagpole at 11 a.m. to honor our national heroes and their families, consider the sacrifices they made so that our democracy might endure, and come together in unity in the midst of one of our country’s most divisive times. It will be a wonderful opportunity to not only celebrate those who served and serve still, but also to remember that together—as families, as neighbors, as a nation—we are stronger.
This ceremony is hosted in conjunction with local Ocala nonprofit Veterans Helping Veterans.
Southern Hammock RV Resort is located at 16905 NW HWY 2256 in Reddick.
