OCALA, FL (352today.com) – It’s almost time for another touring rodeo show to touch down and tack up at Ocala’s Southeastern Livestock Pavilion.
This time around it’s the South Florida Soul Rodeo, which comes to town on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Founded in its namesake region in 2022, the family-friendly South Florida Soul Rodeo is a thrilling and explosive experience that incorporates the contributions Black men and women have made to cowboy culture, and their integral status within it, into a traditional for-the-people rodeo.

- Ladies Barrel Racing
- Ranch Bronc Riding
- Jr. Barrel Racing
- Bull Riding
- Chute Dogging
The rodeo itself takes place Saturday, with gates at 5 p.m., but South Florida Soul Rodeo is also hosting a Kick-Off Field Party on Friday night too. This separately ticketed event will feature live music, line dancing, free food and drinks, an athlete meet-and-greet and more. The Field Party runs from 5-10 p.m. and serves to get the blood pumping for the main event.
