OCALA, FL. (352today) – Meet Serenity, a six-year-old cattle dog mix available for adoption at the Humane Society of Marion County.

With a personality that resembles the peace and calm of nature, Serenity definitely lives up to her name. Her gentle personality is easy to fall in love with, and her soft, spotted fur makes it a joy to cuddle her endlessly. Her greatest desire is to be loved. She will calmly walk up with puppy dog eyes that kindly ask for a hug.

Serenity came to the Humane Society about two months ago from Marion County Animal Services. She unfortunately tested positive for heartworm and was immediately treated. She has since completed her treatment and is on her way to recovery.

This sweet girl gets along with other cats and dogs and will make a great addition to any family. Her ideal family would be one with lots of love to give. Serenity has plenty of life and love to bring to her new forever home.
